After two years of hypokhâgne and khâgne preparatory class in Lyon, I concluded 5-year university in speech therapy at the UCL in Louvain-la-Neuve. I then settled for 4 years in Guadeloupe, where I practiced for 1 year in a psycho-medico-social center and 3 years in a private practice with a varied patient population (oral and written language, neurodevelopmental disorders, aphasia, etc.) I also obtained a certified yoga teacher diploma, after a one-year training.

Maria
Master's degree in Psychomotor Therapy from the Lebanese University.

During my training internships, I had the opportunity to work with various populations. These included early intervention with very young children aged between 0 and 2 years, who had developmental delays or different syndromes; intervention in schools and institutions with young people aged between 3 and 15 years, mainly those facing learning difficulties or diagnosed with neurodevelopmental disorders (ADHD, autism…); and finally, intervention in geriatrics in retirement homes with elderly individuals.

Throughout my professional career, I specialized in working with children with learning difficulties, working in an inclusive school and opening my private practice where I mainly welcomed young people with academic challenges. As a result of this work, I became the head of the special education department in a school, where I developed methods to help the staff and children adapt within the classroom.

For greater effectiveness, I am currently undergoing online training in family coaching at the Nancy Doyon School in Quebec. This is aimed at equipping parents with more practical tools to support their children.

Aliette
master’s graduate in speech therapy from the Haute Ecole Leonard de Vinci in Brussels, Belgium,

As a master’s graduate in speech therapy from the Haute Ecole Leonard de Vinci in Brussels, Belgium, I worked as a speech therapist in a private practice in Paris for two years. During these two years, I worked mainly with children with oral and written language difficulties and adults with neurodegenerative pathologies and aphasia. Then, I worked one year as a first-grade teacher, which I found very complementary to my initial formation
Furthermore, I am deeply invested in language associations such as Francais Langue Etrangere (FLE), which is an alliance offering French courses to to non-native speakers. Finally, I have great experience and interest in working with bi/multilingual patients
